Ey Up, I’m Vinnie.

Welcome to my portfolio. I’m Craig Vinnie Whitehead, a Yorkshire-based photographer and filmmaker.

My work is rooted in documentary and street photography, capturing real moments, honest emotion and the quiet beauty of everyday life. Whether I’m shooting on 35mm film or digital, I’m drawn to stories that unfold naturally in front of the lens.

I photograph everything from street scenes and landscapes to live music, drone shots and film photography. Whatever I’m shooting, it’s always about keeping things real, finding good light and creating something that feels genuine.

I also share my creative journey on YouTube through vlogs, tutorials and reflections on life behind the camera. It’s where I talk about the process, the gear and what keeps me inspired.

This site brings it all together my photography, videos, thoughts and ongoing projects. Hopefully it encourages you to slow down, look a bit closer and notice the beauty in everyday life.

My Journey

My journey into content creation began on the streets, rollerblading with friends. I always had a camera with me, documenting every trick, fall, and laugh along the way. Later, when I owned The Zoo Skatepark in York, I carried that same energy into capturing the sessions, photographing and filming rollerbladers and skateboarders to share the life and community around the park.

When the Covid years hit, my business sadly closed its doors. But the creative spark never left. That led me to launch my YouTube channel, where I began exploring 35mm film photography and street photography. It’s become a space to share my experiences, creative process, and love for authentic storytelling.

I’m excited for what’s ahead continuing to grow, take on new projects, and see where this journey in photography and filmmaking leads next.
