As both a photographer and musician, I know what it takes to capture the raw energy and emotion of live performance. My approach to music photography is all about authenticity telling the story of the artist, the atmosphere, and the connection between performer and audience.

Before stepping behind the camera, I spent years on stage as Vinnie Whitehead, frontman of Vinnie & The Stars performing across the UK and USA. Having played major festivals and shared stages with artists like Goldie Lookin Chain, Billy Bragg, Ben Ottewell (Gomez), Ed Tudor Pole, Josh Pyke, Alistair Griffin, The Martin Harley Band, and Henry Cluney (Stiff Little Fingers), I bring an insider’s understanding of what makes a live moment truly stand out. That firsthand experience gives me a unique sense of rhythm, timing, and emotion whether I’m photographing an intimate gig or a packed festival crowd, I know exactly when the magic happens and how to capture it.

Through photography I’ve worked with G. Love & Special Sauce, Frank Turner, Vinnie Caruana (The Movielife / I Am The Avalanche), Amigo The Devil, and The Karma Effect, documenting performances and behind-the-scenes moments in a raw, documentary style.
